I frown and make my face look like I'm about to cry. This lasts all of about five seconds as I look at Logan and start laughing again for some reason.

A trace of concern crosses my face as she looks like she is about to cry. I hadn't meant to hurt her feelings. "I-I'm sorry-" But then I notice she is laughing and I roll my eyes with amusement. "Oh, real funny." I jibe, but I am laughing too at this point.

I start to feel bad for making him worry about me. But with him laughing I hope he doesn't mind too much. I decide I'm ready to try skating again whilst we are here. I Skate slowly round grabbing the side every so often to steady myself.

I stay nearby so she can grab onto me if she starts to fall. "When you get real good at this, you and I are gonna race each other, okay?" I like challenges like that. I used to think it would be cool to be one of those professional speed skaters that do all those tricks and stuff. That would be awesome.

I speed up a bit, but try to stay close enough so if she falls I can catch her. "You wanna challenge me right now, huh? Good luck." I laugh as I skate along side her with a mischievous smirk.

As he gets near me I give him a little nudge and then try speeding up. Hoping to be ahead of him when I look round.

I'm surprised by the nudge and her speed. 'Wow, she's catching on faster than I thought....' I think to myself as I try to catch up with her. "You're going down!" I shout as I catch up to her.

As I'm busy watching him catching me up , I forget to look at where I'm going.
As he catches up to me I look round and the barrier is right infront of me , I wont stop in time. I just close my eyes as theres nothing else to do. I bump into the side.
"Not only had I not won I had embarrassed myself infront of him again" is my first though. This time I feel tears forming in the corner of my eyes, I feel a rush of pain where I hit the side.

I rush over to her, a loo of concern on my face. I then notice tears in her eyes, "Hey....It's okay...." I say to her in a gentle voice. "It happens to people all the time and you're doing really good so far." I offer her a hug.

Without saying anything I try to stand up still with tears in my eyes. After a few seconds of embarrassment and shyness I accept his hug.

"I promise you, it's not a big deal. I've fallen and crashed into things more times than I can count." I tell her, "Like, this one time I was skating and there were these couple skaters and I crashed into them when they were having this romantic moment and they got so pissed at me."

After hearing that I start to smile again. "That sounds like something you would do on purpose " I say jokingly, with a little giggle under my breath.

"I would probably do it to my enemies." I shrug with a small grin at Persephone. "You know, you're really fun to hang out with. We should do stuff like this more often. There's all kinds of places to go around here...."
