That is bullsh*t. You have no control over what they do. If they want to do somethign then they are capable of doign it without the control of the host. Trust me, we would know. You need a new therapist. -the hornets nest

If someone takes your car are you responsible for if they crash it? If someone uses your computer without you knowing are you to blame for what they do on it? - K

I am of the opinion that I am to "some" degree responsible. I can attempt to hold Knife back, but sometimes he breaks out if he's super pissed (like when Clara was raped). Or we just switch and I don't remember a thing (like when he came out and talked to the therapist). but there is hope for her, we have an appointment next month.

One of those therapists who just want money for themselves without really knowing anything about mental health. She has no idea what the fu*k she is talking about. This is why we don't do therapists or anyone who wants to pick our brains.

That's why I'm lucky we pay for it with taxes. I'd be so angry if I had to pay my own actual money for some of the rubbish I have been told/had to go to.... (schema group ewww... )

And what if you black out? I mean, then you wouldn't have ANY way to hold the knife back or whatever. I mean, you wouldn't even know the crime took place, so how could you be held responsible?
I think if a murder happened and an alter was responsible, the person should be HOSPITALIZED until the one who did it is under control.
Because why should the other alters be punished because of what one alter did out of their control? and should the littles really go to prison?

I totally agree with Leslie on this. If an alter does something majorly wrong then the person should be hospitalized and not sent to jail.

thank you! I agree with it as well. I can't get to the color code on mobile, but I'm not "the knife" my name is Knife. and speaking of almost doing something very bad, I wanted to harm his mother. she was grilling him (the host) about college and pretty much chewing him out about not telling her where he wants to go (as he doesn't live with her) and it was stressing him out so much I just came out..then she kept trying to over talk me while I was in the middle of explaining my reasoning, then I said goodnight and went off to bed...she WALKED INTO the room and continued talking to me and chewing me out...I had to talk myself over why not to end her life. *sighs* its just, I don't see her as a threat per se, just more stress to the host.

I'm sorry for all of that stress. You should be able to go to college when you feel ready, I'm in college now and it's not easy for me but it is okay. Your experience my be different from mine so don't let me scare you away from college. But it is very different from high school don't let anyone tell you different. But it's still fun at the same time. 
If you ever want to talk more about college or anything at all message me. I'm always up to talk. lol :3

sweet thanks. well I plan on going and have a university picked out and all, its just I don't want to tell her yet, because she'll try to hang onto her "baby boy" and I know it.

Oh yeah parents can be like that. I was somewhat the opposite, I wanted to be close to home but being away is good for me. I'm glad I didn't find out about my alters until I came here, it would have been harder at home. But if your mom was bugging you about going to college why would she be so worried about having you stay? Wouldn't she want you to go out and get a higher education? You are old enough to take care of yourself.
